Every Flow team has an email inbox. A team administrator can change its address before sharing it with requesters.
Connect Directory Sync before accepting email from new requesters. Open Settings → Identity and complete Directory Sync setup. Single sign-on (SSO) alone is not enough. Connecting Slack or Microsoft Teams does not enable email access.
Invited Flow members with a known email can use email without Directory Sync. Flow always checks email authentication, including for existing members.

Configure the inbox

1

Open Flow Teams settings.

Open Settings → Flow Teams.
2

Open the team's Flow settings.

Expand the team and open Flow settings.
3

Edit the address.

Under Email, edit the Team email local part if needed.
4

Save.

Select Save changes, or Save address to reserve an automatically provided address.
If Flow displays a reserved address instead of an editable field, contact Flow support to change it. The page also shows the default email signature.

Following up by email

Requesters can email the team inbox to start a request. They should reply in the existing thread to add more information. Operators reply from Conversations → Requester chat. Select email under Communication Channel when it is available. If the reply area offers attachments, select email before adding them. One incoming email can include up to 25 attachments. Files that start a new conversation can be up to 10 MB each. Files in a reply to an existing request use the configured upload limit, which is 25 MB by default. Flow keeps the email comment when a file cannot be added and shows a separate notice in the conversation. See Request tracking for the supported formats. The browser count and size limits on that page apply only when you upload through Flow. Flow can read worksheet cells and saved formula results from an unprotected XLSX attachment up to 10 MB. A larger file may remain attached to the request without being readable in the conversation. Dense workbooks may show only part of each worksheet; Flow marks omitted cells.
