# Google Drive

> Google Drive folder ingestion into Flow knowledge search.

## What Flow indexes from Google Drive

Google Drive syncs files from selected folders into Flow knowledge search.

## Prerequisites

* Google Drive admin or delegated admin who can approve provider access.
* A Flow admin or knowledge manager who can manage knowledge sources under **Integrations**.
* The Drive folders the team needs.

## Prepare the provider

Confirm that the Google Workspace administrator can approve read access to the selected content.

## Connect in Flow

Open **Integrations**, choose **Google Drive**, and complete the connection flow.

## Capabilities

* Select folders for one team.
* Run scheduled or on-demand sync.
* Search the synced files in Flow.

A team connection is how you select and sync the folder. Read access follows
the Drive permissions Flow crawled, not team membership. Connecting the source
does not grant read, and it is not required for org-wide Knowledge or search.

## Automation integration reference

Automation action, scope, and risk reference lives in the [Google Drive integration](/automations/connectors/google-drive).

## Sync and behavior

After the first sync, confirm that the intended files appear under **Knowledge**.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | What to check |
| - | - |
| Connection fails | Confirm the approver has the required provider admin role and can approve the requested permissions. |
| Automation action fails | Confirm the connected account still has access to the target provider record, group, workspace, or project. |
| Permission error | Reconnect the provider after updating provider-side roles or scopes. |
